Frontier Divers is associated with Oceans Discovery for some time. It is organizing the diving operations around the island of Tobago and is assisting OD with their underwater filming operations and a planned community outreach program. Filming underwater is complicated at best of times but the staff has adapted to the new challenge rather quickly, being very comfortable to fully assist any camera crew with their task. Frontier Divers excellent knowledge of local dive sites and Tobago's unique marine life, the professionally run dive operation and the friendly staff are only recommendable.

Tobago Frontier Divers Ltd is a PADI certified Scuba Dive Centre; the company is registered with theTobago Dive Association (ATDO) and is located at Sandy Point Beach Club an RCI Resort situated at the south –western tip of the island. This company is one of the only locally owned dive shops on the island of Tobago. It is owned and managed by husband and wife - Alvin & Kerry Douglas.

While Kerry is a capable diver, she spends her time overseeing all the administrative duties, such as making booking arrangements and ensuring that the customer is welcomed into the family.

The dive boat is a 32ft pirogue - a specially developed vessel ideally suited for these Caribbean waters. Frontier Dive 1 has an aluminium T-top which offers some shade. A pirogue is the best type of vessel for drift dives because of its good manoeuvrability and easy water entry. The vessel is complete with all safety provisions - radio, oxygen, a new Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB), first aid kit and life jackets.

Alvin (otherwise known as “BIG DOUGIE”), a former member and dive instructor of the Trinidad & Tobago Coast Guard of thirteen years, is an experience diver for the past twenty-one years. Being a Master Scuba Diver Trainer, enables him to carry out lectures, consultancy services to both public and private institutes as well as conducting most of the offered courses. The team is complete with two Dive Masters and one PADI Open Water Instructor, all of whom have logged thousands of dives.
