The ammunition ship “Mont Blanc” collided with the Belgian hospital ship “Imo” in 1914 in Halifax Harbour. The explosion killed over 2000 people, wounded over 9000 more and destroyed half the town of Halifax. The Canadian Hydrographical Service, based in Bedford, Nova Scotia has been working for several years to develop procedures for electronic underwater mapping. Join the Search team as they, using this latest technology, are searching for shipwrecks and for information on the impact of the largest man made explosion prior to Hiroshima.
OD's newest filming expedition will be the search for several Spanish Galleons from the late 16th Century, a timeframe in which „Sir Francis Drake" hunted Spanish ships in the "New World".
